My first job as a designer where I learned my craft and cut my teeth on some large bluechip projects (hence the company name; Focus Blue, now sadly defunct).
I worked as a Graphic Designer for Print and Web on many projects, for clients such as BT, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and a range of Scottish and Northern Irish Councils and Educational Organisations. Projects were a mixture of team and solo, working along with developers and other designers at times. I was responsible for liaising with the client, responding to the brief and preparing designs. I was lead designer for several large engineering firms in Scotland, helping to contribute to one of them winning several million pound contracts.

Concept Northern are a training and supply company in the Assistive Technology Sector. My responsibilities were as a print and web designer, focusing on Brand Development, Brochure and Catalogue design, as well as Interactive experience development for those with special needs, such as Dyslexia or visual impairment.
I still consult for Concept Northern on an occasional basis.

After attaining my degree in Digital Art from the University of Paisley in 2005 (now called the University of the West of Scotland) I began freelancing under the moniker of Embryodigital, until my relocation to Northern Ireland in 2011, when I began developing the identity of PixelHarbour.
